In this en plein painting, I aimed to capture the feeling of the Yorkshire Dales. The painting was blessed by my assistant Lizzie, who came out to paint with me for the first time; She said it had been good for her nervous system to be out in this outstandingly beautiful place, painting with me. So I've called the painting 'Blessed Landscape', since she prayed for me and blessed it as we were in such a beautiful place together. It was a very special experience for both of us. I'd prayed for her earlier in the day.
